Rhode Island lawmakers have approved a measure to alter the state’s film tax credit.
The change, in 2020-H 7247A, would allow “larger and more high-profile productions to come to Rhode Island to take advantage of our unique and diverse state,” Sen. Louis DiPalma (D), a sponsor of the bill, said Thursday in a statement. It now heads to Gov. Gina Raimondo (D).
