Rhode Island Tax Div. Issues Income Tax Advisory Regarding Free File, Online Tax Preparation Software

The Rhode Island Division of Taxation (Tax Div.) March 21 issued an individual income tax advisory regarding Free File. Eligible taxpayers can prepare and electronically file their own federal and state income tax returns at no charge through the Free File. Taxpayers with 2021 federal adjusted gross income below $73,000 qualify for the program.
