The Singaporean Ministry of Finance May 12 announced the same date signing of a DTA and protocol with Bhutan. The agreement includes measures to: 1) reduce the income tax rates for dividends to zero percent for companies, and to 5 percent in all other cases; 2) reduce the income tax rates for interest and royalties to five percent; and 3) specify provisions on the mutual agreement procedure (MAP) and tax information exchange.
