South Carolina DOR Announces Expanded Property Tax Exemption for Disabled Veterans

The South Carolina Department of Revenue (DOR) announced the expansion of a property tax exemption for disabled veterans. Effective immediately and retroactive to 2022, the exemption applies to the full year in which the veteran became disabled, if they owned the property for that entire year, and is also available to surviving spouses of disabled veterans.
