South Dakota DOR Issues Information for Sturgis Rally Vendors Concerning Electronic Sales Tax Filing, Payment

The South Dakota Department of Revenue (DOR) July 23 issued information for Sturgis Motorcycle Rally vendors, urging them to file and pay sales and use taxes electronically this year. The DOR informs taxpayers that there may be longer wait times than usual, since it will not have an office at the Buffalo Chip this year, and the Rapid City office will be open to appointments only.
