The South Dakota Governor March 4 signed a law modifying eligibility requirements and the exempt value of a property tax relief program for disabled veterans and their surviving spouses. The law includes measures increasing the value of the partial exemption for dwellings owned by certain disabled veterans and for owner-occupied dwellings of surviving spouses of certain veterans to $200,000 from $150,000.
