Supplement Seller’s California Sales Tax Suit Will Go to Trial

A Delaware-based multilevel marketing company that sells nutritional supplements failed to convince a trial court to hand it an early win in its challenge to a California sales tax bill.

Body Wise International Inc. wants the court to overturn a 2022 California Office of Tax Appeals ruling that it must remit to the state nearly $350,000 in sales tax it collected from customers in other states from 2010-2013.
