Oregon property purchased by Tesoro Logistics from Chevron should be assessed at $10.7 million instead of the $45.8 million the state revenue department preferred, the Oregon Tax Court has ruled.
The dispute concerned varying assessments on property owned by Tesoro Logistics Northwest Pipeline LLC, according to the May 18 order. The court granted the state Department of Revenue’s request that it reconsider and clarify the court’s Feb. 19, 2021 order, which had granted Tesoro a motion for summary judgment and denied the revenue department’s cross motion for summary judgment.
