The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts issued a notice of appraised value threshold for hearing eligibility. The notice states that In compliance with Property Tax Code, §6.425(g), the Comptroller of Public Accounts has determined that a property’s minimum appraised value for the 2026 tax year, as determined by the local appraisal district, must be $62,883,169 to be eligible for a protest hearing in front of a local appraisal review board special panel for that tax year.
