The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Dec. 1 published new and additional sales and use tax rate changes, effective Jan. 1, 2024. The comptroller provides information on: 1) cities and counties that have increased their additional city sales and use tax for street maintenance and repair and city sales tax purposes; and 2) combined areas that have been created to administer the local sales and use tax between overlapping local jurisdictions.
