Texas Creates Municipal Management Districts, Authorizes Certain Taxes

The Texas Legislature enacted a law concerning municipal management districts. The law includes creating districts and authorizing, subject to certain requirements, the imposition of assessments and hotel occupancy, property, operation and maintenance, and sales and use taxes.
