Texas Governor Signs Law Defining Contiguous Tracts of Land for Binding Arbitration of Appraisal Appeals

The Texas Governor June 10 signed a law regarding binding arbitration for property tax purposes. The law defines “contiguous tract of land” for purposes of binding arbitration requests in appraisal review board appeals as two or more contiguous tracts of land that comprise one economic unit regardless of property type classification.
