Texas Voters Approve Constitutional Amendment Increasing Homestead Exemption

The Texas Voters Nov. 4 approved Proposition 13 (S.J.R. 2), a constitutional amendment to increase the amount of the exemption of residence homesteads from ad valorem taxation by a school district.
