Utah Tax Commission Announces Salt Lake City Office Closure Due to Earthquake Until Further Notice

The Utah State Tax Commission March 1 announced that due to a significant earthquake, the commission’s main office in Salt Lake City is closed until further notice for individual income, corporate income, sales and use, property, excise, and trust income tax purposes. The Ogden, Provo, and Hurricane offices remain open. Phone and email services statewide are also closed until further notice, but the commission’s online services such as Taxpayer Access Point remain functional.
