Vermont Department of Taxes Announces 2023 Individual Income Tax Filing Season Officially Opens Jan. 23

The Vermont Department of Taxes Jan. 18 announced that the 2023 tax filing season officially opens on Jan. 23 at both the federal and state levels for individual income tax purposes. The department provides tips for taxpayers to make filing their tax year 2022 return and getting their refund easier and faster. The 2023 filing deadline for personal and corporate income tax returns, Homestead Declarations Property Tax Credit claims, and trust income taxes is April 18.
