Vermont Department of Taxes Publishes Property Tax Guide for Online Filing of Landlord Certificate

The Vermont Department of Taxes Nov. 1 published a tax guide on how to complete Form LRC-140, Landlord Certificate, for property tax purposes. It provides instructions on completing the online version of the form. The department provides that: 1) the system will automatically submit the form when a taxpayer completes and submits it; 2) paper filers must mail a copy of the form to the department; 3) the completed certificate should be submitted to the department by January 31; and 4) there is an option to upload in bulk for people who have many landlord certificates to submit.
