Vermont DOT Issues Guidance on eCuse Online Electronic Submission Service for Annual Agricultural Property Certification

The Vermont Department of Taxes Sept. 1 issued guidance on eCuse, a web-based service for Vermont’s Current Use Program, an online electronic submission service for property tax purposes. The eCuse program guides taxpayers to submit an annual agriculture certification for land and buildings. To start the online submission process, taxpayers must have: 1) the School Property Account Number for each parcel that has agricultural land or buildings enrolled in the Current Use Program; 2) the Owner Identification for each parcel; 3) an email address for each owner; and 4) an account in eCuse.
