Vermont DOT Publishes Form WHT-436 Specifications for Electronic Filing

The Vermont Department of Taxes (DOT) July 1 published revised specifications for electronic filing of the Quarterly Withholding Reconciliation, Form WHT-436, for corporate income tax and individual income tax purposes. The DOT provided information on: 1) quarterly reconciliation filing methods; 2) record format and layout specifications; 3) the two different record types contained in the transaction file; and 4) document record definitions.
