Vermont Governor Signs Law Changing Surplus Lines Premium Insurance Excise Tax

The Vermont Governor June 10 signed a law amending provisions on insurance and securities. The law includes measures: 1) changing the surplus lines premium insurance excise tax to a flat three percent regardless of where risk is located; and 2) making technical changes.
