Bill Shouldice IV will become Vermont tax commissioner Feb. 18, succeeding Craig Bolio, who has headed the state Tax Department since 2019.
Shouldice most recently was president and chief executive of the Vermont Teddy Bear Co. and previously held the same positions with the Vermont Country Store. He led the state’s Agency of Commerce and Community Development under Democratic Gov. Howard Dean in the 1990s.
