Vermont Tax Department Proposes Amendments to Agricultural, Forest Land Appraisal

The Vermont Department of Taxes has proposed amendments to value appraisal of agricultural and forest land. The proposed amendment revises and reorganizes the administrative rules governing the Use Value Appraisal Program to align with statutory changes enacted since 1985, improve clarity and consistency, and incorporate current standards and practices.
