Virginia Extends Motion Picture Tax Credit to 2031

The Virginia Governor signed a law extending the sunset date for the motion picture production income tax credit. The law extends the availability of this tax credit for taxable years prior to Jan. 1, 2031. The law takes effect July 1. [H.B. 400, enacted 04/13/26]
