Virginia Extends Sunset Date for Sales Tax Exemption on Aircraft Components

The Virginia Governor signed a law extending the sunset date for sales and use tax exemption on parts, engines, and supplies for maintaining, repairing, or reconditioning aircraft or any aircraft’s avionics system, or engine to July 1, 2030. The law takes effect July 1 and is identical to HB 1729. [S.B. 942, enacted 03/19/25]
