Virginia Tax Department Announces Individual Income Tax Forms 1099-G/1099-INTs Are Now Available

The Virginia Department of Taxation Feb. 5 announced that Forms 1099-G and 1099-INT are now available for individual income tax purposes. The department indicates that: 1) to look up their forms online, taxpayers will need their adjusted gross income, the tax year of their return, and their Social Security number from their most recently filed state tax return; 2) Form 1099-G reflects any refund or overpayment credit a taxpayer received from the department last year and any corresponding interest; 3) Form 1099-G will also include the amount of a taxpayer’s one-time tax rebate if the taxpayer received the rebate and ...
