The Washington Department of Revenue March 1 announced the excise tax return filing due date for the 2024 first quarter. The due date is April 30. The announcement includes: 1) the 9 percent penalty begins on May 1; 2) the 19 percent penalty begins on June 1; and 3) the 29 percent penalty begins on July 2. [Wash.
