Washington DOR Announces Local Sales Tax Rates, Changes for Car Dealers, Leasing Companies

The Washington Department of Revenue (DOR) May 14 announced local sales and use tax rates and changes for car dealers and leasing companies, effective from July 1 through Sep. 30. The announcement includes: 1) sales and use tax within Mason County, Pacific County, and the City of Snoqualmie increases by .001 percent; 2) additional sales tax of .3 percent for motor vehicle dealers and motor vehicle leasing companies; 3) boundary changes in several counties; and 4) a list of Counties and the various sales and use tax rates.
