The Washington Department of Revenue (DOR) Jan. 26 announced that effective April 1 the city of Poulsbo will establish a Transportation Benefit District (TBD), and the city’s sales and use tax rate will increase one-tenth of one percent (0.001) to fund transportation services. Businesses must collect the appropriate new rate of sales tax for retail sales and services provided within the city.
