The Washington Department of Revenue Jan. 31 announced that effective April 1, the local sales and use tax rates for car dealers and leasing companies within the cities of Marysville, Mill Creek, Monroe, and Tulalip Tribe - Marysville will increase by one-tenth of one percent (0.001) to fund housing and related services. Businesses must collect sales tax at the appropriate new rates for retail sales and services provided within the cities and tribal area.
