Washington DOR Issues Excise Tax Information on City of East Wenatchee Business License Requirements, Fees

The Washington Department of Revenue Jan. 1 issued information on business license requirements and fees for the city of East Wenatchee for excise tax purposes. The city imposes: 1) variable origination and renewal fees for general businesses, non-resident businesses, and home businesses; 2) no origination or renewal fees for nonprofit businesses; 3) no state tax registration fee; 4) variable business license application fees; and 5) a $5 fee to register a business name as a trade name.
