Washington DOR Issues Excise Tax Information on Lynnwood City Business License Requirements, Fees

The Washington Department of Revenue (DOR) Oct. 1 issued information on business license requirements and fees for the city of Lynnwood, for excise tax purposes. The DOR provides that the city imposes: 1) a $30 origination fee or renewal fee for licensing a home business within the city’s limits; 2) a $125 origination fee and $100 renewal fee for non-resident businesses with a reported gross annual income above $5000; 3) a $125 origination fee and $100 renewal fee for general business license, which is determined by the number of employees working within the city limits; 4) a $5 fee to ...
