Washington DOR Publishes Business and Occupation Tax Classification Definitions

The Washington Department of Revenue (DOR) Sept. 1 published definitions for business and occupation excise tax classifications. The definitions should be used to correctly report business income on the excise tax return. The DOR also clarified that taxpayers conducting multiple activities may need to report transactions under several business & occupation tax classifications. [Wash.
