Washington DOR Releases Combined Sales and Use, Excise Tax Return Form, Instructions for First Quarter

The Washington Department of Revenue March 14 released the Combined Excise Tax Return form, for the first quarter, along with instructions, for sales and use and excise tax purposes. The return has sections for business and occupation taxes, state and local sales taxes, other excise taxes, and credits. The instructions include that: 1) the due date for the return is April 30 or the next business day if it falls on a weekend or legal holiday; 2) any unpaid tax, including partial payments, is subject to a delinquent return penalty at a rate of 9 percent for payments after April ...
