Washington DOR Releases Instructions on Completing Combined Excise Tax Return

The Washington Department of Revenue (DOR) Dec. 17 released a document providing instructions for taxpayers to complete the Combined Excise Tax Return for the upcoming tax year. The instructions include information on the requirement that, by April 15, 2025, relevant taxpayers must file the Combined Excise Tax Return if taxpayers’ businesses: 1) engaged in business activity during 2024; 2) did not engage in business activity during 2024; and/or 3) closed during the 2024 tax year.
