Washington DOR Releases January Combined Sales and Use, Excise Tax Return Form, Instructions

The Washington Department of Revenue Jan. 26 released the January combined excise tax return form with instructions for completing the form. The form has sections for the state business and occupation tax, the state sales and use tax, the local city and/or county sales and use tax, other excise taxes, credits, and deductions. The form includes: 1) the tax return is due on Feb. 25, or the next business day if it falls on a weekend or legal holiday; 2) penalties are assessed based on how late the return is filed; 3) deductions taken but not itemized will be disallowed; ...
