Washington Extends Hazardous Substance Tax Exemption for Agricultural Products

The Washington Governor signed a law extending hazardous substance tax exemption for agricultural crop protection products that are temporarily warehoused but not otherwise used, manufactured, packaged, or sold in the state. The exemption is extended until Jan. 1, 2038. The law takes effect June 11. [S.B. 6244, enacted 03/23/26]
