Washington Governor Signs Law Providing Sales Tax Exemptions for Assistance to Certain Disabled Veterans

The Washington Governor March 18 signed a law providing tax exemptions for assistance of disabled veterans and members of the armed forces of the U.S. The law includes measures creating new business and occupation tax and sales and use tax exemptions for income from sales made on a federal military reservation by a nonprofit organization operating an adaptive recreational and rehabilitation facility to assist disabled veterans and U.S. armed forces service members.
