The Washington Liquor and Cannabis Board Sept. 30 amended regulations concerning the special occasion events license, application process, and advertising rules for excise tax purposes. The rules include measures: 1) making technical changes to licensing rules; 2) clarifying application and documentation requirements; 3) adding to rules for profit distribution, fees, and alcoholic beverage requirements; and 4) clarifying restrictions on direct-interest advertising and branding.
