The Washington Governor signed a law concerning the establishment of land bank authorities. The law includes: 1) authorizing two or more contiguous counties to establishment a land bank to be administered by an interlocal agreement; 2) providing that a county legislative authority must prioritize the transfer of tax foreclosed property to an entity operating a land bank authority; and 3) providing an exception, for transfers by a county legislative authority of tax foreclosed property to an entity operating a land bank authority, to the requirement that at least 60 days notice be given to a city in which the property ...
