An affluent school district in New Jersey is cutting staff and eyeing a property tax hike to address a nearly $20 million surprise budget hole uncovered this summer.
“The process of making and communicating staffing reductions is incredibly difficult,” said Superintendent Ruth Turner. “We remain steadfast in our commitment to fiscal responsibility and educational excellence for our students.”
