The West Virginia Tax Division July 1 published revised requests for waiver of electronic filing and payment requirements. The publication includes: 1) the code provisions that require taxpayers to file and pay their taxes electronically; 2) any taxpayer required to file or pay a tax return electronically may request a waiver in writing, not later than thirty days before the beginning of the calendar year; 3) the definition of undue hardship; 4) the various electronic filing and payment methods; and 5) steps to request a waiver.
