West Virginia Requires Managed Timberland Property Tax Certification Every Five Years

The West Virginia Governor signed a law concerning taxation of managed timber. The law includes changing to every 5 years the frequency for certification to the Division of Forestry by owners of managed timberland that the property meets the definition of managed timberland for property tax purposes.
