The West Virginia Tax Division published updated information on motor vehicle property tax adjustment credit. The updated information requires taxpayers to pay the first half of their assessment before Oct. 1 and to pay the second half before April 1, to qualify for the motor vehicle property tax adjustment credit. The publication also contains that the credit is only available for actual tax paid and can be claimed by only individuals and business motor vehicle owners.
