Wisconsin Allows Port Washington, Beaver Dam to Exempt Qualified Data Centers From Incremental Financing

The Wisconsin Governor signed a law that allows the cities of Port Washington and Beaver Dam to create or amend tax incremental financing (TIF) districts containing qualified data centers. The law allows the exclusion of the value increment of the qualified data center district from the calculation of the sum of the equalized value of taxable property of the created or amended TIF district, plus the value increment of all existing districts, and from the total equalized value of taxable property in the city.
