Wisconsin Creates Veterinarian Grant Program, Provides Income Tax Exemption

The Wisconsin Governor signed a law creating a veterinary loan repayment grant program. The law includes providing that grant awards under the program are exempt from state income tax by providing a subtraction modification from federal adjusted gross income for amounts received beginning after Dec. 31, 2024.
