The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) Sept. 28 issued income tax withholding information about wage and information return reporting requirements for individual income and corporate income tax purposes. The information includes: 1) employers and payers doing business in the state must file wage statements (Forms W-2) and information returns (Forms 1099-MISC, 1099-NEC, and 1099-R) with the DOR; 2) all withholding tax statements and returns filed with the DOR for 2023 are due Jan. 31, 2024; 3) taxpayers filing 10 or more wage statements or 10 or more of any one type of information return with the DOR, must file them ...
