Wisconsin DOR Issues Wage, Information Return Reporting Requirement for 2022 Income Tax Withholding

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) Sept. 28 issued 2022 wage and information return reporting requirements for employers and other payers, for individual income and corporate income tax purposes. Employers and payers doing business in Wisconsin are required to file wage statements and information returns to report withholding tax to the DOR. All statements and returns filed with the DOR for 2022 are due Jan. 31, 2023. Taxpayers who file 10 or more wage statements or 10 or more of any one type of information return must file electronically.
