The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) June 1 published a guide on the Tax Refund Interception Program (TRIP) for state agencies, for individual income, corporate income, trust income, sales and use, property, and excise tax purposes. The DOR provides that TRIP assists state government agencies and circuit or municipal courts in Wisconsin with debt collection. The DOR intercepts or processes refund setoffs of taxpayer refunds against qualifying debts.
