The Wisconsin Department of Revenue Feb. 8 released updated 2022 Schedule WD instructions, for individual income and trust income tax purposes. The instructions include: 1) lines 10 and 72 were updated to provide that adjustments for differences in federal and Wisconsin basis of an asset required to be reported on Schedule T, Transitional Adjustments, must also be reported on Schedule WD, Capital Gains and Losses, not on Schedule M; and 2) Parts III and IV were updated to clarify that Form 1NPR filers shouldn’t complete Part IV but should fill in the amount from line 27 or 28 of Schedule ...
