Wyoming has become the latest state to authorize online sports betting.
Gov. Mark Gordon (R) signed a bill (H.B. 133) Monday providing for legal sports wagering. The state will impose a 10% tax on gaming revenues, according to the measure, which estimated the state’s sports wagering market at more than $449 million, depending on conversion from the illegal market. The law will take effect Sept. 1.
