2020 Tax Filing Season to Kick Off January 27, IRS Says

The IRS will open its 2020 tax filing season Jan. 27.

Taxpayers will have until April 15 to file their 2019 federal tax returns. More than 150 million individual returns are expected to be filed, according to a Jan. 6 news release.
